The McHenry Noon Kiwanis club is over 50 years old and has about 60 members. We are always looking for more members who would like to have fun while helping others. Our club meets each Wednesday at noon. May through October we meet at the McHenry Country Club; November through April we meet at Rusty Nail in Ringwood. Please see our calendar for meeting place and times. Guests are always welcome! While attending at meetings is encourgaged, it is not mandatory. Some members who cannot make luncheon meetings are active members, volunteering in our other service projects.
Kiwanis International is a worldwide organization of men and women, with over 350,000 members. Local clubs are made up of individuals desiring to improve their community through service, with an emphasis on projects benefiting young children.
Our club is particularly proud of our members; Brian Cunat, is a recent past president of Kiwanis International! Brian has led all Kiwanis clubs in serving the children of the world -- "Serving Children around the World" is the motto of the Kiwanis.
